Mahatma Gandhi University’s Online M.Com programme is a two-year postgraduate programme offering a thorough education in Commerce. Programme Overview

The programme spans four semesters and is exclusively offered online. Its design and framework adhere to the UGC (ODL & OL) Regulations 2020. The curriculum mirrors that of the traditional M.Com programme offered by the University.

English serves as the medium for both instruction and assessment. The postgraduate degree conferred under the Faculty of Commerce is equivalent to the regular postgraduate degree awarded by the University.

Eligibility

A candidate who has passed B.Com/BBA/BBM or any equivalent Degree approved by Mahatma Gandhi University with a minimum of 45% is eligible for the Online M.Com Programme.

Relaxation in qualifying percentage is allowed for SC/ST, OEC, SEBC, and physically challenged students as prescribed by the University from time to time.

For International students, the application fee will be $20 and semester fee will be $400.

How do I apply to join the programme?

The candidate can apply for the programme online through our website. Follow the steps mentioned. Once the admission is confirmed, Mahatma Gandhi University will intimate the candidate via email and/or SMS.

I am an international applicant / student with a qualifying degree from outside India; can I apply?

Yes, International Students as well as Indian students with foreign qualifying degrees can apply. Admission of such students will be confirmed only after the verification of their qualifying certificates.

How are the exams conducted for the programme?

All examinations shall be conducted online.
Examination schedule will be notified on the LMS towards the end of each semester.
The students will have to register for the examinations and obtain an e-admit card.
Examinations are conducted as per the UGC / University regulations on online mode.
Semester end examinations and internal assessments shall be objective / MCQ based.
Students shall have a provision for additional attempts in case of failure, absence or for grade improvements as per existing university regulations.

How can I clarify my academic queries and doubts during the programme?

Students can post their academic queries and doubts in public forums or as private messages on the LMS, and they shall be addressed by the course coordinators. They may also interact with course coordinators during the live classes.
